The Basic Concept of Green Pest Control

Geckos, frogs, birds, lizards, and spiders prey on pests, and are a valuable part of nature’s pest control system. As such, natural pest control products and strategies, should strive to protect birds, lizards, and other non targeted creatures; from the effects of treatment.

Birds are possibly the most important natural enemy of common pests. Given the opportunity, nearly all large native birds, will happily feed on a generous supply of bugs and insects. For example, chickens will readily consume an extraordinary number of common pest problems; like scorpions and crickets.

As such, the idea behind a "green" or natural pest control solution, is to effectively control pests; by first preventing them from entering a home or structure. The goal of the pest control strategy is not to kill all bugs. There is much value in maintaining the balance of nature, and keeping insects outdoors, to provide reptiles, invertebrates, fowls, and other natural predators; with a generous food supply.
